How to Begin Using POPFor your convenience, we have provided two ways that you can setup your POP settings.
- The TrueSwitch wizard will automatically set up your POP3 e-mail software package to receive your Network Solutions® e-mail messages:
- Go to: http://www.networksolutionsemailpopwizard.com/ (see "Note" below if window does not appear)
- Click on the Yes button when you are prompted to install and run TrueSwitch® Email Configurator developed by Esaya.com Inc.
- Follow the instructions provided
- You can also manually configure your POP3 e-mail software package, but since your outgoing server settings are dependent upon the software package you are using and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) - we recommend that you use the TrueSwitch wizard.
- Incoming Server Settings: mail.yourdomainname (e.g., if your domain name is jimsbikes.com, the incoming server would be mail.jimsbikes.com)
- Outgoing Server Settings: smtp.yourdomainname or the outgoing server setting specified by your ISP (e.g., if you use EarthLink, your outgoing server setting might be smtp.earthlink.net). You will need to contact your ISP for the specific outgoing server setting that applies to your service or you can run the TrueSwitch wizard.
- Be sure to enable SMTP Authentication; see How Do I Enable SMTP Authentication.
Note: If clicking on the TrueSwitch link above doesn't automatically take you to the TrueSwitch site, you can:

Open a new Web browser window (e.g., Netscape, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, etc.)

Type http://www.networksolutionsemailpopwizard.com/ in the address line and press the enter key
